1. What is the most beautiful book you own? "Sister Wendy's 1000 Masterpieces" It is a stunning anthology of Western painting that covers all the key artists and movements, from medieval religious painting to abstract expressionism. It also has a special binding techinique called Smyth-sewn--a technique that not only guarantees long life, but allows pages to lie flat so readers don't have to hold pages down to read them.
2. In what way is it beautiful? Is it the illustrations, the binding, a combination of these, or something else? The illustrations of the art are just stunning.
3. How often do you look at it, browse through it, read it? It sits on my coffee table in my living room so I pick it up now and again to look through it and notice a new piece of art.
