By The Way Sunday
~Word Power~ By the way.... Do you know any new words? No? Okay, here’s what you do. Take the first letter of your last name. Get out your dictionary and look up a word that starts with that letter. (For instance if your last name is Smith, look under the S’s.) The word you choose has to be one that you have never heard of. Share it with us and don’t forget to include the definition. If you are really adventuresome, use it in a sentence. I think I'll use my first name instead-"L" Here's a word I saw on the menu this morning at breakfast at Ruth's Keystone Cafe. lefse-A round flatbread of Norwegian origin, traditionally made of a potato-based dough and baked on a griddle.
