Security Clearance and Sexual Orientation.
Thank you Mr. President! Please, don't let anyone try to tell me that he's not a sneaky little devil. Do you recall the executive order Clinton issued that stated you couldn’t deny someone security clearance simply because of his/her sexual orientation? Well, good ol' "W" had that removed. You can read the AP article here. I don't even know where to begin on this. Being gay makes me a security threat? That is the biggest load of crap. Lesbian and gay advocacy groups recently found the change in an 18-page document distributed by National security adviser Stephen Hadley on Dec. 29, without public notice. The order implies that being gay makes one more susceptible to blackmail. Hello! How are you going to blackmail someone for being gay if it is known that he or she is gay? I just don't get it...
