The Friday Five
1. What is your preferred trusted news source? NPR 2. What is a news source that you will never trust? Fox News- it's more drama and fiction than actual journalism. 3. What is the news topic during the last calendar year that you feel got the worst coverage? I think the coverage in Iraq of the civillian deathtolls have been completely overlooked. Preliminary estimates as of December of 2004 revealed that at least 6,000 Iraqi citizens in Fallujah had been killed, and one-third of the city had been destroyed. 4. What news item do you feel got too much coverage in the last calendar year? Bush's talking up the war in Iraq. 5. If you had complete control of your favored news source(s) (answer to question 1), what would you do with it that is not already being done? Even more diverse coverage on an vast array of topics.
