FOUR FOR FRIDAY
Q1 - Automobiles: A gallon of gasoline weighs just over 6 pounds. When burned, the carbon in it combines with oxygen from the air to produce nearly 20 pounds of carbon dioxide (CO2). With that in mind, and with the price of gasoline continually on the rise, how likely is it that the next car you buy will be a hybrid?
Honestly, I'm torn on that topic. I got rid of my Honda Accord about a year ago in favor of a Honda Pilot. I've been paying the price ever since.
Q2- Television: How many channels are on your television, and approximately how many of them do you watch on a somewhat regular basis?
I'm thinking somewhere in the neighborhood of 600, including the XM radio stations. I have a Dish. I watch all of about 2 or 3 channels of it on a regular basis. Sad...
Q3- How Are They Doing: Do you think pharmaceutical and drug companies generally do a good or bad job of serving their consumers?
Absolutely not. I've been privy to seeing firsthand the waste that goes into the pharmaceutical business.
Q4- Right Now: What is the closest object to your left hand?
A stack of financial papers. I was supposed to have today off. Here I am at work. But I've promised myself it is only for a few hours at most.
I applaud your blog,i took zyprexa which was ineffective for my condition and gave me diabetes.
{Only 9 percent of adult Americans think the pharmaceutical industry can be trusted right around the same rating as big tobacco}
Zyprexa, which is used for the treatment of psychiatric disorders, such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, accounted for 32% of Eli Lilly's $14.6 billion revenue last year.
Zyprexa has been linked to causing diabetes and pancreatitis.
Did you know that Lilly made nearly $3 billion last year on diabetic meds, Actos,Humulin and Byetta?
Yes! They sell a drug that causes diabetes and then turn a profit on the drugs that treat the condition that they caused in the first place!
