Attention Office Max Shoppers...
I was spared the Kinko's visit. Instead, I came up the idea of going to Office Max. I'm still not sure if that was a good choice or not. I was only asking for 25 color copies. Only 25. Sounds like a reasonable enough request. I stood there waiting for about 20 minutes and finally told the woman behind the counter to take her time, I'd go get some lunch. By this time, it was 1:15 pm and I was starting to get hungry. Very, very hungry. If you recall, that means something not very pretty. Luckily (for me
and the Office Max print lady)
Puccini's is near by. They make a wicked-good salad and a mean Junior Calzone. I have no idea why it is called Junior. It isn't small, it's all cheese. Did I mention they serve wine too?
So I ate my lunch and went back next door to Office Max. I walk up to the counter and ask chipper Susie, Office Max print-mistress extraordinaire, if my order is ready. It's been about 45 minutes since I left to go to lunch. She says " I
think I have 25 copies done." She thinks. Okay...
See, maybe I should have gone to Kinko's after all.
Who knew?
